She retains lessons well, and after she figures out what it is we want from her, seems to be asking, what's next? She has strong potential for eventing and/or dressage, but I believe she will do well with any discipline, like most Canadian horses. She was bred and raised here on our farm, and has been handled daily since birth, using natural horsemanship techniques. She is also used to young children, and is very gentle with them. She is very affectionate, and always first to the gate, looking for a job.

Molson is an 8 year old Canadian gelding. I have owned him since he was a two year old and have used him for many different disciplines. He loves to jump and has jumped up to 3'6, but would probably be most comfortable jumping around 3'. He is the type of horse who will jump anything for you as long as you are confident and sure of the fence. He is an awesome mount for X-country, will go over any obstacle and has no issues with water. He is great to hack out alone or with others. I use Molson for pleasure riding mostly - I love to go out on the trails and he is perfect for that! Molson is a super sweet horse who is very curious and loves to give kisses!

She stands approximately 15.2hh and has excellent conformation and sturdy feet as is typical of the breed. She is black with a small star, a thick mane and tail, and light feathering. Roxy is trained English, and is equally as comfortable alone or with others, in the arena or on the trails. Unflappable. Her list of skills is rather extensive, but the main ones are w/t/c, leg yielding, lead changes and jumping.

Lovely, brave registered Cheval Canadien mare, was ridden regularly in the woods, arena, on roads and open fields, until it got too snowy this winter. She has a cataract in her left eye and a small one in her right. She has lots of suspension and impulsion and a big ground covering trot. In the past she has fox hunted, attended clinics, pulled a cart and sleigh, and before I got her she pulled a maple sap collection sledge.

I've gotten two beautiful, quiet, and sweet sons from her and she's an excellent mother. Now I'd like to find her a good home -- preferably as a brood mare although she could also be used as a therapy horse or ridden in familiar surroundings or with other horses -- and I'll give her free to someone who can provide it.

Exciting News @ Dream Horse Canadians

Dream Horse Canadians is now four weeks into our new location in Marshfield,Ma. Things have been crazy busy but the farm is coming together nicely. The facility offers 10 stalls,tack room, bathroom, riding ring, round pen and five acres of lovely turnouts. We have nearby trails for hacking as well. There are also several beaches a short trailer ride away...fun! Our great location is going to make it super easy for everyone to come and see our amazing Canadian horses. Our Open House is scheduled for Sunday,August 16, 12-4.

Lambert Lambert Udalgau is Dream Horse Canadians new junior stallion. He is by Gerard Lamberts gorgeous Creme Colored stallion,SCHMUCKI PHARRAUD LAMBERT. Lambert is well known for passing his breathtaking color and beauty to his offspring.
Udalgau is a lovely young colt with lots of promise. He is a lighter boned stallion with graceful movement. He is calm and easy to handle. Watch for Udalgau, he is quite the head turner!

Announcement! QUATRE G BILLY BOY DOLLY has arrived at Dream Horse.
Dolly is a Gorgeous mare who both rides and drives. She has unbelievable movement. A sweeter mare is hard to find. She has impeccable manners. Easy to handle, groom and tack. She is a real pleasure. Dolly is currently advancing her under saddle training and is offered for sale.

Hi Everyone:

I am pleased to announce that we have added another award to Canada's National Horse Exhibition:

This one is a special one : It is called the "Élène Sergerie" award. Jody, who came up with the idea, emailed me to see what we could do. The wheels went into motion...

The first year the CNHE and the Canadian Horse Link (Jody Turvey) will be sponsoring this award. The trophy will be signed by none other than our "Élène Sergerie" and she has promised to do her best to make the presentation in our 1st year.

It will be awarded to the participant who best embodies the character of our own special fellow member Élène Sergerie - the participant who "keeps trying" "thinks positive and never gives up" or as Gladys put it "a will of iron and an indomitible spirit, like our Canadian Horse".

Each year members will have the chance to sponsor this award. I am sure we will have a waiting list of those wanting to be part of this for many years to come. We are thrilled that Élène has allowed us to do this. It is indeed an honour.

We are regrouping and reorganizing. We ask for your patience while we revamp the website and get things caught up. The CNHE is a volunteer-run, non-profit-based event. We strive to provide the best services with our limited yearly budget. Our source of funding is mainly derived from class fees and sponsorship.
